Hi folks,
This year’s event is scheduled to be held on
March 19 with March 20 as a backup. A local closed building
has been reserved if there turns out to be unexpected rain
either day.
The event will be held from 10:00AM to 3:00PM
this year again at the Paquette IH (International Harvester)
Museum just off Highway 44 on the east side of Leesburg FL.
The address and phone numbers are:
615
S Whitney Road Leesburg, FL 34748
352-728-3588
352-267-4448
Attendees can sign up for a
catered barbecue noon meal including sides and dessert for $13,
including tip. Attendees will again be able to take the onsite
tour of hundreds of restored IH items from combines/tractors/big
rigs to several Scouts on down to refrigerators/kid size toy
models. If there are ten, the group tour rate is $10/person.
The format will be similar to last year with mostly informal
discussions, car looking, and sharing information of
pictures/brochures. I will be once again taking video of each
set of Glassic/owners, plus reminiscing with others present.
Please mail me
willkomm@chorus.net with your questions, or plans to attend
with number of persons and Glassics/other vehicles, so the
parking, tours, and meals can be coordinated. Attendees are
encouraged to bring their own folding chairs, if possible
Updates/confirmation based upon weather predictions, etc. will
be made 18 March or sooner.
Hopefully, the good weather trend
on event day will continue.
